Saving links

What Lark does with a link the moment you save it.

Every save starts with a link. Add one in the web app, or click the Lark icon in your browser with the extension installed. Either way, the link lands in your inbox right away and Lark gets to work on it in the background.

What Lark does with it

Within a few seconds of saving, Lark:

  • Reads the page and stores a clean copy of the article for the reader.
  • Writes a summary so you can tell at a glance whether it is worth your time.
  • Adds tags describing what the page is about.
  • Files it into a collection that fits, so your library stays organised without you sorting anything.

You can change the collection and the tags whenever you like. Lark's choices are a starting point, not a rule. See Lark AI for more on how the summary, tags, and collection are chosen.

Saved something by mistake?

Archive it. Archiving takes a link out of your inbox and collections without deleting it, so if you save the same page again later it comes straight back with the summary and tags Lark had already worked out.
