Importing your links
Bring your existing links into Lark from a browser export or a Lark backup.
What you can import
The import wizard accepts two kinds of file:
- A browser export. Every major browser can export its saved links as an HTML file. Import that file and Lark recreates your folders as collections and brings every link with it.
- A Lark backup. If you exported a JSON backup from Lark before, you can restore it here. See Settings for how to make a backup.
How it works
- Open the import wizard from Settings and choose the kind of file you have.
- Upload the file. Lark checks it straight away and tells you if something is wrong with it.
- Lark then creates the links in the background and shows a progress view while it works. You can leave the page; the import keeps going.
Imported links are treated like any other save: Lark reads each page, writes a summary, and adds tags over the following minutes, so a large import fills in gradually rather than all at once.
