Connecting your account
The extension signs itself in when you sign in to Lark. Here is how that works.
How the connection works
There is nothing to type. When you are signed in to lark.love in a browser that has the extension installed, the website hands the extension a private token the first time you open Lark. From then on, saves go straight into your account. The extension never sees your password, and the token only works for the extension.
Saving before you have signed in
If you click the icon and press Save while signed out, the extension opens the Lark login page in a new tab. Once you sign in, it finishes the save you started and switches you back to the tab you came from. The pending save is kept for ten minutes; after that, just save the page again.
The Browser extension card
Your Account page has a Browser extension card that shows one of three states for the browser you are using:
| State | What it means |
|---|---|
| Not installed | This browser has no Lark extension. The button takes you to the extensions page. |
| Installed but disconnected | The extension is there but has no token for this account. Click Connect This Browser. |
| Connected | Everything is working. The card shows the extension version and a Disconnect button. |
How long the connection lasts
The connection stays alive as long as you keep using the extension. After 14 days without any activity it expires, and the next save sends you through sign-in again.
Signing out of the website does not disconnect the extension. To revoke its access, for example on a shared computer, use Disconnect on the Account page.
Several browsers
Each browser gets its own connection. Chrome and Firefox connect separately, and disconnecting one leaves the other working.
