Saving pages

Open the panel, check the preview, save, and undo if you change your mind.

Open the panel

Click the Lark icon in the toolbar. A panel slides in at the edge of the page showing the site's favicon, the page title and domain, and a Lark AI section. Clicking the icon again closes the panel. Nothing has been saved yet.

The preview

While the panel is open, Lark reads the page and shows a short summary, along with the reading time, the author, and the publisher when it can find them. This is a preview of what Lark will store. If Lark cannot produce one, or you are signed out, the section quietly disappears and you can still save.

Save

Press Save. The panel switches to Saved ✓ and, over the next few seconds, fills in:

  • the AI summary of the page,
  • the collection Lark filed it in, shown as "Filed in …",
  • the tags it chose.

Lark picks the collection and tags for you. You can change either later in the web app. If processing takes longer than usual, the panel reads Still processing — view on Lark, with a link to the web app where the summary will appear once it is ready.

Pages you already saved

When you land on a page you saved before, the toolbar icon shows a saved mark. Opening the panel shows the stored summary, collection, and tags instead of a Save button, so you cannot save the same page twice by accident.

Undo a save

Saved something by mistake? The panel's footer has an Undo button. Undo archives the link rather than deleting it, so if you save the same page again later it comes straight back with everything Lark had already worked out.

Account

The footer also has an Account button that shows which Lark account this browser is connected to. Useful if you use more than one.
